| Location of our Great Breck Condo Breckenridge is located in the heart of Summit County, Colorado - the heart of Ski Country Colorado. The historic town built around the silver mining industry of the old west has thrived and prospered throughout its existence. Skiing came to town in 1961 and Breckenridge has become a world-class resort, bringing in over 1.63 million visitors during the 2007/2008 season - more visitors than any US ski resort. And it makes sense with an average annual snowfall of over 300 inches (seven meters). Skiers and boarders alike have access to over 2,358 acres (893 hectares) of skiable terrain with 155 trails (14% beginner; 31% intermediate and 55% advanced/expert). Our condo boasts the "to die for" location within the town of Breckenridge. The Village at Breckenridge resort complex truly is ski on/off with no streets to cross or bus to wait for. Just 100 steps across the plaza, through the Maggie Building and you're at the Quick Silver High Speed six-pack lift. If you want to kick back and relax, everything is right on site at the resort: five hot tubs, sauna, steam room, heated pool, even a great work-out facility. If you want to venture out and explore historic Breckenridge, all the fun is just a short stroll away. One block brings you to over 75 restaurants, 200 unique shops, 240 historic buildings, 18 art galleries/museums, and more.
